Upcoming Change to EI Billing

The EI Billing website (www.eibilling.com) is transitioning to a new hosting location on May 8, 2023. This change is in preparation for the transition to the EI-Hub solution.  The change is only applicable to EI Billing. The Bureau of Early Intervention (BEI) has committed to providing approximately 2 months’ notice before the complete transition from New York Early Intervention System (NYEIS) to the EI-Hub.

Beginning May 8, 2023, EI Billing will transfer from its current website hosting location to Amazon Web Services (AWS). The transfer to the AWS hosting location will help to ensure the EI Billing site is ready for the next phase of the transition when the EI-Hub is formally launched and accessible behind the Health Commerce System (HCS) firewall.

EI Billing will maintain the same look and layout as the current website and there will be no change to the process for viewing and managing claims on EI Billing. Users will continue to access EI Billing via the www.eibilling.com web address (URL). Users will also be able to access the website using their current login credentials (username and password).

Prior to the transition to the AWS hosting location, there will be a planned system downtime from 5/5/2023 5:00pm – 5/8/2023 7:00am. During this time, EI Billing will transfer to the new hosting location. There are no expected delays to payments as a result of the transition, however, Billing Providers will not be able to monitor their claims during the 5/5 - 5/8 system downtime period. Once the new hosting location is activated, Billing Providers can resume normal business activities.
