Contacting Cigna and Aetna to Obtain Policy Information

Service Coordinators are responsible for the accurate collection of insurance information. This often includes gathering a child's information in order to determine eligibility.

PCG has created documentation specifically to instruct Service Coordinators on how to contact insurers for obtaining plan and policy information on a specific child.

This article includes documentation for our most recent release, Cigna, as well as the first in our series, Aetna, released in November, 2014.

The self-guided tutorials can be downloaded by RIGHT-CLICKING each course link, and then following these instructions below:

1. Save the attached file to your computer. We recommend saving it to your desktop.

2. Extract (unzip) the file. 

3. Double-click the story.html file to launch. If a security message appears to 'Allow Blocked Content', be sure to accept/enable this option. Note: There may be a small delay before the story begins.
