EI Billing Update Available November 3

PCG, in conjunction with the New York State Department of Health Bureau of Early Intervention (BEI), is pleased to announce an update of the EI Billing portal. This update will enhance the current user experience by adding several new features to complement existing tools, including a significant upgrade to reporting and the associated training elements. The portal, which will be live on November 3, 2014, will deliver over 20 customizable reports, enhanced training modules, improved site functionality, and an extensive knowledge library.

PCG has created an introductory training video for this EI Billing update, which can be accessed here. This video provides an overview of the reporting enhancements and new functionality, and shows how to access detailed training modules on these enhancements and will assist you in navigating through the updated portal.

Arriving at this point took significant effort from many stakeholders, and PCG would like to acknowledge that effort. Beginning in January 2014, PCG partnered with system users across New York State to design reports that meet the needs of all users, whether the user is an individual provider, a service coordinator, a large provider agency, or a municipal administrator.

PCG has created new training modules associated with each new report. These modules can be found on the Training page of the EI Billing portal, accessible here. In addition to the new modules, the Training page also contains a full library of other training resources. Users can access other supplemental resources related to the reports, including user guides and a glossary, through the EI Billing Knowledge Base.

PCG is available to respond to questions from users about the new functionality. PCG trainers will respond directly to any users’ questions related to new reports and training modules. The Customer Service Center can be reached at (866) 315-3747.

In order to complete the transition for this update, EIBilling.com will be unavailable starting at 8:00AM on Saturday, November 1, for approximately two hours.
