SECOND UPDATE: Transition to Trizetto Claims Clearinghouse

Please note: This is an update related to earlier communications, PCG Transitioning to New Insurance Claims Clearinghouse (November 2) and UPDATE: Transition to Trizetto Claims Clearinghouse (November 18).

Our previous communication stated that PCG will complete and auto-sign insurance payer forms on behalf of Early Intervention Program (EIP) Billing Providers for the transition to Trizetto. PCG has learned that certain payers do not allow auto-signing of enrollment forms. For these payers, EIP Billing Providers will need to follow one of two processes as described below:

For the payers listed below, EIP Billing Providers will still receive pre-populated forms for signature from PCG to enroll. These forms should be signed by the Billing Provider and returned to NYSFAEIP@pcgus.com.

Payers Requiring EIP Billing Providers signature on forms:

  • Affinity
  • Emblem Health
  • GHI
  • HIP
  • Independent Health
  • United Healthcare

For the payers listed below, EIP Billing Providers will need to complete an online enrollment. PCG will send instructions for completing online enrollments to EIP Billing Providers that bill the payers listed.

Payers Requiring Online Enrollment by EIP Billing Providers:

  • Aetna
  • Blue Cross and Blue Shield
  • Excellus
  • Healthnow
  • Optum
  • Oxford

Please note that EIP Billing Providers may also receive correspondence from payers for which PCG has submitted signed forms on their behalf. If you receive correspondence – such as an approval notice – directly from one of these payers, please inform PCG by emailing NYSFAEIP@pcgus.com. If you have any questions, please contact the PCG Customer Service Call Center at (866) 315-3747.
