If a provider receives returned insurance claims (CMS 1500 forms) or a notice indicating their claims were sent to the wrong address or branch of an insurance company, they will need to follow the steps laid out in
this Knowledge Base article to have the insurance information corrected.
Information updated in NYEIS will be received with EIBilling.com's next NYEIS data import. Information updated in KIDS will be received once the county has uploaded a
KIDS insurance batch and the batch has been processed.
To see if the information has been updated on EIBilling.com, providers can check the Insurance Policies tab in the
Child Lookup Details for a child. Once the information is updated, the claims should be resubmitted using the
Insurance Pending Claims page.
